PotatoStrike maps and the map editor
Five maps ship with the game, and players can build and share their own with the editor, all inside the browser.
Built-in maps
- Foundry: the classic industrial arena. Two bomb sites, a mix of open lanes and tight cover.
- Sandstone: a desert map with three lanes (west tunnels, the middle and a long lane) leading to bomb sites A and B.
- Rust Yard: a yard with a central tower you can climb by either ramp, surrounded by shipping containers.
- Suburb: two houses facing each other across a street full of cars and cover.
- Container Pit: a tiny, fast arena of container rows. Best for small matches.
The map editor
The editor runs in your browser and works like a small level-design tool. Drag shapes from the palette into the scene, move, scale and rotate them with gizmos, paint blocks with a colour palette, and place spawn points and bomb sites. The editor checks your map for problems such as unreachable bomb sites or too few spawns before it lets you publish.
- Shapes: boxes, smooth ramps, cylinders and pyramids.
- Test it: play your map against bots straight from the editor.
- Share it: publish the map so other players can pick it in private matches, or export it as a file.
- Rating: players rate published community maps from one to five stars. The best rated maps are listed first on the Maps screen.
